Even Though I Blasted Men In My Earlier Post, They Have Redeeming Qualities

A couple of posts ago, I compared qualities of male and female lawyers.  Some think I blasted men.  This is my disclaimer, if not an apology.  I believe what is said in the previous post is generally true and I admit to generalizing.  But that is not why I am writing.  Overall, men are good to have around.  I like men.  Dare I say, I love some men (like my husband, brothers and son and nephews, ya da ya da).  It's just that male lawyers can learn a lot from female lawyers (and I must admit female lawyers can learn to be a little braver from their male counterparts).  The end.

  1. No need to apologize. You were right on! To those male lawyers who were or are offended by your post, that is exactly the problem. Take some feedback and learn from women. You men don't rule the world.

  2. I didn't find your post offensive at all. You have no need to apologize.

Even though I am a mere male, you have always treated me with respect and dignity. ;)

  3. Thanks so much for your input. I believe in what I wrote before and I tried to be accurate. I just didn't want to convey that every man is that way. Michael, you are not that way at all. Many men are, unfortunately.

  4. Most of the men at TLC emmulate and worship Gerry Spence who, as any female who has ever attended TLC can tell you, treats women like second class citizens and objects. He has no respect for women's talent and abilities as trial lawyers.

  5. I got an email a while ago about a trial seminar for women trial lawyers being held in May in Palm Springs. This is much needed and a great opportunity for us women to come together, grow, learn and build mentor relationships. This program sounds great and I plan to attend. It is time for us women to create something just for us, without men taking over, taking control and pushing us aside.
